I paid for my stay online but when I arrived uh they said I hadn't. Had to wait almost 3 hours just to get checked in talk about ridiculous, and the kid at the desk was more interested in his food than helping me. But let me tell you, those mattresses yeah they were old and firm. Never shoulda flipped them over, just gross.

I really enjoyed my stay here as I found the bed comfortable and the suite clean, which made for a nice retreat after exploring the nearby Milwaukee County Zoo, just a short drive away, and strolling through the beautiful Elm Grove Village Park, only a few kilometers from the hotel, where I could relax in the fresh air.

Wauwatosa got my taste buds dancing! The nearby grub spots like Eldr + Rime dished out some killer Spanish bites, and I also hit up Firehouse Subs for a sammie that packed a punch. On top of that, the queen studio was spacious enough for my crew, and the staff were super chill and accommodating.

But, yikes! The second floor had a funky smell, like someone was trying to cook spaghetti in a smokehouse. Not to mention the kitchenette was a total tease—no pots or pans in sight. The breakfast? More like a sad selection of gas station pastries that left me hangry.
